About Us
Handy Hands Lawn Services was founded by Barry and Wanda Hinson in 2014. In 2016, Handy Hands was relocated to Georgetown, SC. It has always been a dream of Barry and Wanda to live and retire in the coastal community. After several visits to Georgetown, they fell in love with the small town charm and the amazing natural beauty of the area. Since then, several of our employees have relocated with the company here in Georgetown, SC.
Barry is not only the owner of the company, he is also a crew member. You will find him on any job the crew is on, working side by side with them. He has over 20 years of experience in residential and commercial construction and lawn care. He believes in quality work at affordable prices, and stands behind the work of his company.
Matthew, our South Carolina foreman brings his wide range of creative design and Horticulture knowledge to the team! Matthew is experienced with indoor /outdoor growing conditions as well as soil and soil-less media. Studying locally in the Charlotte region, he holds certificates in Landscape Design, Greenhouse Propagation/Production, and Horticulture Maintenance. He is a certified and licensed pesticide applicator for Multiple states. Whether its a personalized design or a detailed maintenance program to meet your needs, the possibilities are endless.
Our office administrator - Wanda , has 27 years of experience in customer service working in the dental field. She then helped Barry launch Handy Hands in 2014 from their home office and has been instrumental in its growth. She specializes in account payables, account receivables, collections, payroll, and client relations. She handles all day to day correspondence with all of our clients.
